Dr. John Buoncristiani

Dr. Buoncristiani was born and raised in Southern California, and has lived in this area throughout his life.  He teaches at the UCLA dental school for both the doctorate and post-doctorate programs, and has maintained that position for the last 30 years.  He and his wife have been married for over 30 years and have 4 children and one grandson.  He has practiced endodontics full time in Newport Beach for 28 years.

Dr. Buoncristiani graduated from Loma Linda University Dental School and followed up with an internship at the UCLA medical center and VA Wadsworth in Los Angeles.  He practiced general dentistry in Los Angeles and followed with a residency program in Endodontics at the UCLA Dental School.  Dr. Buoncristiani maintains an active faculty position at the UCLA School of Dentistry where he teaches in both the undergraduate, (dental students), and post doctoral (endodontic residents) programs.  

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Endodontics and member of the College of Diplomates.  Besides treating patients he also serves as an endodontist expert in dental/legal malpractice cases.  He enjoys his family and outdoor activities as well as exercise and generously giving his time to  people.
